Podcasts that keep me going...
I’m pretty old fashion, I like to read actual paper copies of books. It’s something about turning the pages and bookmarking my last spot. In the past fours years or so, I’ve become OBSESSED with listening to podcasts! There’s one for every mood or subject you can think of! When I want to unwind for the day, I pour a glass of wine and search for a good podcast. I always get questions about what I’m listening to or reading. Here’s some of my favorites that are in steady rotation. Hope you find one to add to your list!
Oprah’s SuperSoul Conversations. Such an empowering podcast. Each episode goes into depth about life, spirituality, faith and so on. If you’re in need of a good awakening, SuperSoul conversion will fill you up!
Ted Talks Daily is an audio format of the conference Ted Talks. It’s great for creatives and truly inspiring. My favorite Ted Talks to date is by the author Elizabeth Gilbert.
More about empowerment but more importantly, women empowerment ! This podcast pushes me to invest more aggressively. Each episode highlights money experts, women executives, entrepreneurs and more. I look forward to a new episode every Tuesday!
The Daily gives me all the news I need in 20 minutes. If you’re on the go like me, The Daily highlights the most important news topics. I listen to this podcast daily!
Everyone should be pretty familiar with NPR, if not start here. There’s several podcast that are generated from the radio station. How I Built This showcases innovators through a narrative approach. Each story is truly inspiring. We see certain companies success, not the beginning stages. Every episode goes in depth of the how/why the company was started and how they keep going after bumps in the road. As you can see, there’s a recurring theme in my podcast choices!
The adventures of Crissle and Kid Fury ! My weekly dose of pop culture and belly aching laughter comes from The Read. I’ve been a fan of Kid Fury since his Youtube days! We also share a H U G E love for the Queen Beyoncé. I look forward to the listeners mail and their “read” .
