My mac & cheese adventure……

My mac & cheese adventure……

The Ainsworth is an upscale sports bar with a menu that will sweep you away. They’ve added Nashville to their list of homes which include New York and Kansas City. They’re highly known for their beautiful layout of high ceilings, TVs galore and those 24 karat wings! Just when I thought I’ve tried mac and cheese in various ways, The Ainsworth proved me wrong!

Now on to the fun part… more food and cocktails…

First off, I can’t believe this is a sports bar. Again.. I can’t believe this is a sport bar! The Ainsworth came strong with a short but to the point menu. There’s something on the menu for everyone There’s various burgers, salads and small bites to share. Some standout dishes for me were the Ainsworth wing and Mac fries. That’s correct… MAC FRIES. Talk about ultimate cheese pull, it comes equipped with three different dipping sauces. The wings were cooked to perfection and mildly spiced.

I took a breather and indulged in Ainsworth cocktail selection. The Last Stop was the standout cocktail for me. Mixed with Hennessy, Ciroc Apple, Red Bull Yellow and lemon…forget the rules of mixing light and dark! I see where Last Stop got its name. On to the Mr. Moore which packed major flavor from the ginger syrup and blackberries. I’ll have to revisit it on the next go round.

I was in a mood for a burger so I chose the Mac&Cheese burger. Wow, it was the mother of burgers! WARNING… it looks very intimidating. Let me paint the picture, sesame bun with truffle mac and cheese oozing over a beef patty , on top of a mac and cheese fried patty with more cheese. Try it and thank me later.

The Ainsworth definitely lives up to all the talk and more. Thank you for the wonderful experience! Nashville’s newest jewel will be the perfect hang out spot for game watching and the late night party destination. You heard it here first!
